Jilted lover kills relative in Narsingi

Hyderabad: A jilted lover of Jharkhand native confessed to have killed his brother in law by slitting his throat with a vegetable knife under Narsingi police station limits as his lover started avoiding him and started seeing his cousin. The deceased was identifed as Gopal Kachhap, 25, a resident of a labour camp in Narsingi Village. 

“Baha Baxla, 25, who is brother-in-law of Gopal, confessed that he murdered him by cutting his throat with a vegetable knife in his room at Labour colony at My Home Avathar ” said Narsingi Police Inspector G.V. Ramana Goud. “The reason cited by the accused Baha Baxla was his lover, Vimala, getting close to his brother-in-law, while avoiding him,” the police inspector further said.

On Wednesday, the accused was booked under relevant sections of IPC and was produced before the court for judicial custody.
