One Naxal killed in encounter in Jharkhand's Khunti

Khunti: Security forces killed one Naxal following an encounter that broke out here on Thursday.

According to the security forces, the encounter took place in village Maronbir of Rania region in the district.

Troops of the 209 CoBRA special ops recovered the body of the Maoist along with one Heckler and Koch 33 assault rifle.

A search operation is underway. More details awaited.
