Hyderabad: Woman ends life over husband's affair

Hyderabad: A woman committed suicide at Sai Nagar Colony in Hayathnagar on Wednesday afternoon allegedly over suspicion that her husband was having an affair. Police said Mekala Hema, 25, was married to Prashant two years back and the couple had a baby boy. Prashant works as a mechanic. “The couple did not have any issues in their marital life until recently when the wife started questioning him for having illegal contacts. This irked the husband and he began to torture her,” alleged Hayatnagar sub-inspector Raja Shekar. Police recovered a suicide note from their house in which Hema mentioned that her husband had an affair.
