Hyderabad: SI Koteshwar Rao, accused in realty business, surrenders

Hyderabad: Petbasheerabad SI Koteshwar Rao, accused of highhanded behaviour against a realtor in settling a civil dispute, was suspended by Cyberabad incharge commissioner Mahesh Bhagawat, along with three constables. A case was registered against the SI on Monday and officials said he was unavailable for questioning. Sources said the SI came to the police station in uniform on Tuesday but was not detained or questioned. He surrendered before a city court on Wednesday and was granted bail. A case was registered against him after the realtor, H. Shiva Pradeep, lodged a complaint.
