Khammam: Headmaster held for sex abuse

The headmaster was taken into custody. The students of the school found fault with the misbehaviour of the headmaster.

As a big relief to the residents of RK Puram and Devinagar, the Neredmet police on Saturday swung into action and arrested one person from the illegal piggery involved in extracting oil from pig wastes.

Khammam: A case has been filed against a high school headmaster at Bonakal under the Protection of Children From Sexual Offenses Act and IPC 354D on Friday. 

Banothu Basu and Gugulothu Narasimha Rao, parents of the girls lodged a complaint against headmaster Duggirala Ramanaiah, who was mandal education officer earlier in Bonakal mandal. 

According to the complaint of the parents, the headmaster harassed their kids sexually and tried to touch their privates by pretending to find out their ailments. 

Bonakal police station SHO Varala Srinivas said, “We received complaints from the parents on sexual harassment. We found a case in that.” 

The headmaster was taken into custody. The students of the school found fault with the misbehaviour of the headmaster. M. Neeraja, Class VIII student said the headmaster used to harass girls. She said that many students feared him. Earlier, the parents and their relatives went to the school to ask an explanation for his behaviour. 

The headmaster did not respond properly to them. 

The headmaster used vulgar language against a parent on the phone. The student, who completed Class X had applied for a TC. Instead of issuing the TC he misbehaved with her parent. In another incident  two girls complained of stomach ache and asked the class teacher to give permission to go home. The teacher asked them to get the permission of the headmaster. He tried to touch the girls by pretending to know their disease.
