Hyderabad: Cab driver kills man over girl, arrested

The accused was harassing the deceased's sister for over a year.

Hyderabad: The Jubilee Hills police have registered a murder case against a 26-year-old car driver.

The deceased has been identifed as Prudvi Raj, a grocery shop owner. According to the Jubilee Hills police, David, the accused, was harassing Raj’s sister for over a year. Elders tried sorting out the issue, but in vain. David developed a grudge against Raj’s family due to this.

K. Balakrishna Reddy, Jubilee Hills police inspector said, “David went to the grocery store owned by Raj on Sunday at about 11 pm. He asked Raj to give groceries on credit, following which a brawl broke out. David, who had brought a knife with him, stabbed Raj.”

The Jubilee Hills police have registered a murder case and further investigation is underway.
