Man killed, phone sold for Rs 1,700 in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The railway police arrested one Mohd Sohail, 24, a daily labourer, for killing a man at the Malakpet railway station on January 6, and selling his mobile phone for Rs 1,700. The victim remains unidentified.

The victim’s body was found at the station in a pool of blood,

Mahesh Bhagwat, additional DGP, railways, said. Sohail, the accused, was involved in crimes in the jurisdiction of Shainayatgunj, Chaderghat, Mirchowk, Dabirpura, and Kacheguda railway police.
