Bengaluru: Depressed over health issues, 60-year-old woman hangs self

Bengaluru: Depressed over her poor health, a 60-year-old woman hanged herself at her residence in HAL police limits.

The deceased, Dhanalakshmi, was a resident of Chinnappa Layout in Annasandra, and was suffering from seizures. She stayed with her daughter, the police said.

She was depressed that even after undergoing treatment and taking medicines, she often got seizure attacks. On Friday evening, while she was alone at home, she hanged herself from the ceiling. Her daughter returned home later, found her mother handing and alerted the police.

The HAL police have registered a case.
