Two held for killing dog and selling its meat as deer meat in TS

 ADILABAD: Laxmanchanda police arrested two persons who killed a pet dog and sold its meat as deer meat in villages at Nirmal district’s Laxmanchanda mandal. It is learnt that they sold the dog meat for Rs 500 for ‘kuppa’.

The owner of the pet dog Anand searched for it and lodged a missing complaint with the local police three days back. The local police verified the CCTV footage and found that the accused Varun, who used to stay in the same locality, had taken the dog and killed it with the help of Srinivas.

Srinivas is a native of Pottapalli (K) and Varun is from Chamanpalli, according to SI Rahul.
