Bengaluru: Three eve teasers who attacked traffic constable arrested

Bengaluru: Three youth, who had assaulted a traffic constable who objected to their eve-teasing on Friday night, have been arrested by the KR Puram police. 

The incident had occurred in Battarahalli in K.R. Puram police limits.

The youth, identified as Nadeem (21), Allahbaksh (25) and Mubarak Pasha (19), residents of Medahalli, had parked their bike on the roadside and were reportedly teasing girls. The constable, Shivanand Rathore, who along with a sub-inspector was checking on drunk driving cases when he saw them teasing girls.

When the constable questioned them, the youth abused him in filthy language and assaulted him. The constable had then lodged a complaint at the KR Puram police station.
