Youth loses control of car, hurts two on two-wheeler in Alwarpet

Chennai: Tension prevailed in posh CP Ramasamy road in Alwarpet after a car driven by a youngster lost control. The speeding car hit a two-wheeler in which an elderly couple with a child was badly hit.

The driver of the bike was rushed to the nearby hospital with serious injuries and the kid also sustained injuries. Police detained the driver and his friend. 

The duo were examined to check whether the youngsters were under the influence of alcohol. The car has been seized and the injured who was rushed to hospital is critical, police said.
