Seven arrested for IPL betting

Hyderabad: Shamshabad special operations team police arrested seven members of a gang for betting on an ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket match, and seized Rs 1.12 lakh net cash from their possession. They were found betting on Chennai Super King and Mumbai Indians teams, SOT inspector Satyanarayana said.
He said the prime betting organiser was Suresh of RTC Colony in Shadnagar, who had formed a gang with Md Shabbir, a flower trader, Sampangi Yadagiri, Enumula Ganesh, Maccha Jangaiah, Enumula Ramesh and Enumula Kishore. Police seized seven mobile phones from the accused.
