Bengaluru: Man sneaks into paying guest, molests girl

Bengaluru: What can be termed as a major security lapse concerning women's safety, a pervert recently sneaked into a paying guest accommodation and allegedly molested a girl in Wilson Garden police station limits.
The incident took place on Oct. 2 evening. The woman raised an alarm, following which the pervert fled.
The paying guest accommodation is located in Shanthi Nagar and 10 girls stay there. Shockingly the facility's promoters have not employed any security guard nor CCTV cameras.
The girl has filed a police complaint. However, when Deccan Chronicle contacted the jurisdictional police station, the officials refused to speak about the incident. Repeated calls to officials went unanswered.
The complainant alleged that the place had no CCTV cameras. The police who visited the spot said that the owner of the house has installed CCTV cameras after the alleged incident.
The police have begun investigation and launched a manhunt to nab the pervert.
