Pune: 36-yr-old Madrasa teacher held for stalking woman, her daughter

The accused, identified as Mansoor Chandulal Inamdar, was allegedly stalking 54-year-old woman and her daughter.

Pune: A 36-year-old Madrasa teacher was arrested in Pune for allegedly stalking a woman and her daughter.

The accused, identified as Mansoor Chandulal Inamdar, was allegedly stalking 54-year-old woman and her daughter, according to a report.

The woman filed a complaint alleging that she and her daughter went to market to purchase some items for their parlour and when they returned, they saw Inamdar standing outside their shop.

Later, when the two were heading back to their residence in an autorickshaw, Inamdar allegedly followed them on a motorcycle. The FIR stated that the accused also followed the woman’s daughter when she had gone to the market alone.

Upon confrontation, Inamdar said, "Do whatever you want to do."

After and FIR was registered, cops arrested Inamdar for offence under Section 354 (D) (stalking) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
