14-year-old boy sodomised by three juvenile suspects in Shalibanda
HYDERABAD: A 14-year-old ninth class student was threatened and sodomised in an under-construction building by three juvenile suspects from his locality in Shalibanda on Monday.
According to the victim’s father, two persons from the same locality had at 11 am threatened his son and forcibly took him to the construction site and assaulted him. Later, another boy also joined them in the offence.
“My son returned home complaining of severe pain. On questioning, he said three boys, two of whom are around his age, and the third one who was over 16 years, threatened to kill him and eliminate our family if he did not give him. He pointed out that they were torturing him physically for nine months,” the victim's father told Deccan Chronicle.
“When I called one of the accused, he threatened to kill me if I approached the police,” he said.
Nonetheless, the victim’s father lodged a complaint with Shalibanda police, who sent the victim to the Osmania General Hospital for tests. “We have received a case from a 12-year-old boy’s father. We have sent the victim for a swab test,” said Shalibanda inspector P. Ramesh.
“We have registered cases for performing unnatural sex, criminal intimidation under POCSO Act and 506, 377 of IPC against the three suspects,” Ramesh said.
Meanwhile, reliable police sources said that the suspects have been identified. The police were waiting for forensic reports before taking action while investigation was continuing.
