Knife attack on Jagan case: Accused to be shifted to Vizag Central Jail

Visakhapatnam: In the knife attack on Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Vizag court accepted the defence lawyers’ request, and instructed officials concerned to shift accused Srinivasa Rao to Vizag Central Jail from Rajahmundry Jail. The court posted the case for hearing on September 20.

Accused Srinivasa’s lawyer Abdus Salim spoke to the media in Visakhapatnam on Wednesday. He said, “On the day Jagan Mohan Reddy was attacked, there was no other eyewitness except the YSRC leaders. We have no faith in the police, as they did not even present a knife before the court. The case was deliberately filed against Janapalli Srinivas.” Abdus Salim claimed that they had all the evidence.
