Man held for molesting minor relative

The police on Saturday arrested a former managing director of a private firm for bribing a former sub-registrar of LB Nagar to illegally execute a sale deed related to the assets of the firm.

An auto driver and resident of Amberpet, he was earlier involved in 11 vehicle theft cases and had been arrested, DCP, North Zone, Chandana Deepti said. (Representational image)

Hyderabad: A man was arrested for molesting a minor girl, a relative, on the pretext of buying her chocolates in SRT Nagar of Borabanda on Monday morning.

The police said that the accused also shot a video of the girl, who raised the alarm, following which the public nabbed him.

The Sanathnagar Police booked him under Pocso Act sections and sent the girl for counselling.
