Bengaluru: The Karnataka High Court has listed the criminal petition filed by Mohammed Nalapad Haris, son of Shantinagar MLA N.A. Haris, before the single-judge bench of Justice Sreenivas Harish Kumar for Wednesday. The petition is listed under supplementary cause list (mostly urgent matters).

Nalapad, who is the prime accused in thrashing Vidwath, has moved the High Court seeking bail along with the other accused in the case.

Their advocate Usman has sought an interim bail on the grounds that Vidwath has been discharged from hospital. He has opposed slapping Section 307 (attempt to murder) charges against the accused.
