Two more held in Bipin murder case

MALAPPURAM: The Tirur police on Tuesday arrested two more persons in connection with the murder of RSS worker Bipin.  Alathiyur native Sabinur, 39, and Sidheeq, 25, of Palapetty near Ponnani were taken into custody from different places on Monday night and in the wee hours of Tuesday.   According to the police, Sabinur had direct involvement in executing the murder.  “He was one among the six-member squad which killed Bibin on August 24,” Tirur DySP V.A. Ullas said. Sidheeq was among the conspirators who met at various places along with Sabinur and others involved in the crime.  Police said both were SDPI workers. 

The case is being investigated by a team led by Mr Ullas and Perinthalmanna DySP M.P. Mohanachandran. They have so far arrested four suspects.  Earlier, on Friday, two others, Thufail, 33, and Mohammed Anwar, 39, were held for their involvement in the conspiracy. Bibin, 25, Triprangode mandal sharirik pramukh of RSS, one of the key accused in Faisal Pullani murder case in Kodinhi, was out on a conditional bail since April. The District and Sessions Court in Manjeri had also granted bail to prime accused in the case, RSS Tirur taluk saha karyavahak Madathil Narayanan (47) and VHP Tirurangadi taluk secretary Kottashery Jayakumar (48) on two surety bonds of Rs 1 lakh each.
