Hyderabad: Nacharam police on Tuesday arrested three persons who were stealing fuel from Indian Oil Corporation Limited tankers.

Police also seized an oil tanker and 100 litres of diesel form a shed where the theft used to take place.

Following a tipoff that diesel was being pilfered from IOCL oil tankers, Nacharam police kept a close watch and found that the fuel was being stolen in the shed erected to commit the crime.

Nacharam police said A. Bixamaiah, 26, a driver, indulged in the offence along with Narender, K. Srikanth and U. Linga Raju. Narender erected the shed where every day Biamaiah would bring a lorry from which the fuel would be stolen and sold for '60 a litre.
