Visakhapatnam: Body found in Raiwada canal

VISAKHAPATNAM: Body of a 35-year-old man was found floating in the Raiwada canal under Pendurthi mandal, about 30-km from Visakhapatnam on Monday.

He was later identified by the police as Gompa Srinivasa Rao of Ippilivanipalem of Pendurthi mandal. Police and the family members are suspecting that he might have been killed as injury marks were found on his body. He was a chronic alcoholic and often quarrelled with people. He is survived by wife and two children. Police registered a case and sent the body to King George Hospital, Visakhapatnam for autopsy.
