Thief flees with 12 tola gold from car in parking lot

Hyderabad: An unidentified man fled with two bags containing 12 tolas of gold ornaments and Rs 20,000 cash from a parked vehicle in Chaitanyapuri.

He broke open the left rear door of the vehicle that was parked in front of showroom in Chaitanyapuri. They could have forgotten to central-lock the vehicle, Chaitanyapuri police said. “Our team has spotted the culprit taking away the bags in CCTV footage,” said Chaitanyapuri inspector S. Madhusudhan.
