Bengaluru: 2 held, 4 kg ganja seized

Bengaluru: The CCB police arrested two people selling narcotic drugs in separate incidents in the city on Thursday and seized 4 kg of ganja from them.

The accused, Abdul Rehman, 33, from Kolar, was caught while trying to sell ganja in the Kalasipalya police limits.

Based on credible information, the police rushed to the spot and found him selling ganja near Bamboo Bazar. They arrested him and seized 2 kg of ganja worth Rs 80,000 along with his mobile phone.

In the other incident, the 28-year-old Imran Khan, also from Kolar, was arrested for selling drugs in K.R. Puram police limits.

The police reached the spot, arrested him and recovered 2 kg of ganja along with a mobile phone and a bike, in all worth Rs 1 lakh.

The police said that the accused bought ganja in Kolar and sold it to known people in the city. The police are hunting for his accomplice.
