Five men are accused of involvement in land grab and extortion cases in Bhongir

Hyderabad: Police of Bhongir town in Telangana have opened history sheets against five associates of the slain gangster Md Nayeemuddin in order to keep close surveillance on them and prevent them from committing offences.

Police had earlier arrested K. Jangaiah, 37, G. Shivaraj, 26, B. Nagaraju, 37, P. Nagaraju, 23, and S. Hari, 48, all aides of Nayeemuddin, for alleged involvement in cases of land grabbing, kidnapping and extortion in Bhongir. They were later released on bail.

According to the police, Jangaiah is involved in 91 cases, Shivaraj in three, B. Nagaraju in eight, P. Nagaraju in six and in five criminal cases.
