Hyderabad: Chintaginja Anil, a resident of Kalasiguda, is an accused in 15 cases in Alwal police station alone, in addition to a rape and attempt to murder case in Medak, and other cases.

Anil was working as a labourer before his criminal record started in 2003. He was earlier involved in property offences and had a habit of going to sex workers regularly and was accused of attacking them. In 2013 he was an accused in a rape and murder case at Alwal. In the same year, he was accused in an attempt to murder case at Narsapur. The case pertained to a sex worker who demanded more money from him which resulted in him crushing her face with a stone. She survived. He was convicted for it and sentenced to one-year RI and sent to Narsapur Prison, from where he was released on Friday.
