Hyderabad: Kalyan Mal Choudhary, 32, a Rajasthan native and Vanasthalipuram resident, is a father of two and has been running Mahadev Jewellers for the last 12 years.
"Kalyan is known for his helpful nature, and we never imagined he would be in such pain. The police assured us that the men would be apprehended and that justice would be served. We hope they find the culprits soon," a member of his family said.
On Friday morning, Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh Bhagwat paid a visit to the hospital and met with the two injured men and their families.
"We learnt about the incident late at night and rushed to the hospital, where they were immediately shifted for immediate medical attention. We were told that the men were looking for Sukhdev and that Kalyan had been hurt in the middle of their plan. We spent the night in anxiety and agony, and we only breathed a sigh of relief when the doctors assured us that he was no longer in danger," one of Kalyan’s relatives said.
