Konaseema police trace over 100 stolen phones using chatbot service

Kakinada: The Dr BR Ambedkar Konaseema district police have traced over 106 stolen phones worth '17.24 lakh and handed them over to their owners. The police have introduced a chatbot service on WhatsApp (8522913300) to help people track their lost or stolen phones.

To use the chatbot service, people can simply send a message to the WhatsApp number and provide details of their mobile phone. The police will then use their resources to trace the phone and return it to its rightful owner.

The police have so far traced a total of 504 phones worth '80 lakh in the Konaseema district using the chatbot service.
