Accused alleges involvement of more TSSPDCL officials

Based on information given by him, the ACB is likely to question some more suspects

Hyderabad: A day after ACB officials arrested TSSPDCL assistant engineer (operations) of Erragadda section Kowda Pavidida Raju on corruption charges, they kept tabs on his illegal income sources.

It was reported that when ACB officials questioned Raju, he said some senior officers in TSSPDCL were involved in illegal activities. The ACB officials have recorded the statement of the accused officer for further investigation.
Based on information given by him, the ACB is likely to question some more suspects.

Raju was arrested on Saturday for accepting Rs 40,000 from complainant Mohammed Azhar Sulthan, a resident of Erragadda. He accepted the bribe for not taking any action against the complainant for a defect found in the meter during a lab test.
