Nirmal: Stranger enters hostel, stabs boy

NIRMAL: An unknown person attacked a Class V student and stabbed him with a knife while the boy was sleeping in the BC Gurukula hostel in Kubheer mandal headquarters in Nirmal district on Sunday midnight.

The accused managed to escape after attacking the boy with a knife before other students and staff woke up. The staff immediately took the boy to the Bhainsa area hospital where he is undergoing treatment. The boy, Harshavardhan, a native of Laxmanchanda mandal and had joined the hostel five days ago. Police are yet to confirm the reason behind the attack.
