Khammam: Three more bodies of dead Maoists were identified on Wednesday. Kothakonda Srijana, a resident of Paidipalli in Warangal district, Dhanasari Sarakka, a resident of Pakala Kothagudem in Warangal district and Madakam Banda, a native of Gollagadda in AP were recognised.

Srijana, an Intermediate, was working for the Maoists since 11 years and her mother is state vice-president of the Relatives of Martyrs Association. Her uncle Junne Chinnalu is also a Maoist leader. Dhanasari Sarakka, who is a relative of Maoist Party's Telangana secretary Haribh-ushan joined the party 18 months back and she was living away from her husband.

Interestingly, the police handed over two bodies — that of Dhanasari Sarakka and Yusufbee — to their relatives. But, they received HC orders to preserve the bodies of the dead Maoists. Six bodies were preserved at the Bhadra-chalam Area Hospital. Relatives of Martyrs’ Association president Anjamma and vice-president Santhamma came to see the bodies.

Santamma alleged that it was a fake encounter and there were many wounds on the bodies of the dead. "They were caught and killed by cops," she said and she demanded a judicial enquiry into the killings.
