Kerala actress molestation: No breakthrough yet in recovery of Pulsar' phone
Crucial camera footage of gang trailing actor's vehicle on national highway recovered.
Kochi: The police team investigating the abduction and sexual assault of a woman actor by a gang led by Sunil Kumar aka Pulsar Suni continued their hunt on Wednesday for his mobile phone that allegedly captured the act in a moving car.
They also recovered crucial camera footage of the gang trailing the vehicle on the national highway.
The visuals show them stopping the car at Vennala and buying water from a shop.
The accused stopped there as the actor stopped the vehicle, as contained in her statement to the cops.
The probe team, however, made no breakthrough in collecting the mobile phone prime accused Suni used on the day.
Their efforts to get a clear idea failed to make much headway as they continued to give contradictory statements to their interrogators.
Although the probe team sought the help of Navy to search backwaters under the Goshree Bridge for the mobile phone the other day, they couldn’t find anything.
Suni had told them that he had thrown the handset into the water from Goshree Bridge.
