3-year-old girl abducted, raped in RC Puram area of Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A 3-year-old girl was abducted and raped in RC Puram. The police arrested the suspect, P Srinivas, who is working for a private firm. The girl is admitted to the Niloufer Hospital and is said to be out of danger.

The girl went to a weekly market with her parents. While her parents were busy with the purchases, the girl went missing. She was abducted by a drunkard, who took her into the nearby bushes and raped her. 

The couple started searching for the girl in the market, but in vain. At around 9.30 pm, they lodged a missing complaint. At around 11 pm,  RTC employees of BHEL depot  found a girl crying with clothes drenched in blood. They also found Srinivas standing nearby. 

“On seeing us, he tried to run. We caught him. He was heavily drunk,” one of the drivers said. They later alerted the cops, who arrested him.

Mr S. Ravikumar, ACP Miyapur, said,  “We have shifted the girl for medical examination and she is out of danger now.”
