Two arrested, 30 Mephentermine sulphate injections seized

HYDERABAD: The LB Nagar special operations team (SOT) and Hayathnagar police arrested two persons for procuring and selling mephentermine sulphate injections, used to build muscle mass, and seized 30 vials.
Police said the prime accused Balaji Darmaji Punduge had migrated to the city in 2015 and was working in the marketing unit at a private hospital. He began sourcing the injections from the hospital.
The other accused, Balaji Gulabrao, is a nephew of prime accused Punduge. They
were arrested at their house in Hayathnagar. Police said the prescription drug cost `268 a shot and the duo was selling it for up to `2,000.
