Medico dies by suicide in Nizamabad college

 HYDERABAD: A 21-year-old MBBS third year student, M. Sanath, died by suicide in the Government Medical College hostel in Nizamabad. When his classmates and hostel staff saw his body, they informed the police and his parents.

Sanath was a native of Centenary Colony in Ramagiri mandal of Peddapalli district. The reasons for his death are yet to be ascertained. Sanath's father M. Ramesh is an employee of Singareni coal mines.

The victim had completed third year MBBS exams recently and has been preparing for practicals.

Nizamabad I Town police shifted body for postmortem and registered a case.

It may be recalled that Dasari Harsha, 22, from Mancherial district, a fourth year MBBS student from the same college had died by suicide on February 25.

That suicide had come days after Dr D. Preethi, a postgraduate student at the Kakatiya Medical College, took her life at the MGH Hospital at Warangal.
