Thiruvananthapuram: The police forensic team on Saturday  collected evidence from CCTV visuals at Madavoor, near Attingal,   about the car used by four assailants who had hacked to death a former  RJ on Tuesday. The hatchback came as a crucial piece of evidence as it was caught on CCTV cameras. Later, it was found at Adoor and the rent- a-car operators who gave the vehicle to the  assailants were arrested.  The police probe team has fanned out to various cities in  Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.

The former  radio jockey Rajesh, 36,  alias Rasikan Rajesh was hacked to death at his  recording studio at Madavoor  around 1.30 a.m. on Tuesday  by a gang of four who came in a hatchback in the wee hours of Tuesday. The RJ was having an affair with a Qatar-based woman whom he met  while working at a radio station in that country.  The affair had created problems  in the family and her husband had  threatened to eliminate him.
