Hyderabad: Man held for raping 15-year-old girl

Hyderabad: A 15-year-old girl was sexually assaulted and impregnated by a man from her neighbourhood in Kamatipura. The girl had asked the accused to teach her scooter driving, police said. He developed a relationship with her by promising marriage and cheated her. 

The accused, identified as Shaik Hussain alias Ghoru, lived in her locality. “On the pretext of marrying her, he sexually assaulted her several times in a nearby graveyard, leading to her getting pregnant,” police inspector S. Sudarshan said. 

The issue came to light when the girl’s parents noticed physical changes in her. Upon taking her to the doctor, they learnt that she was pregnant. Based on a complaint, Hussain was arrested and a case was booked against him.
