 Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Wednesday met Rishad Premji, the executive chairman of Wipro, at the 54th annual meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos of Switzerland.

On a journey to showcase the Telangana state as a hub of innovation and progress, the Telangana team interacted with business, industry and government leaders and presented the wide-ranging investment opportunities the state has to offer.

In the meeting with Rishad Premji, the Chief Minister discussed the possibility of expanding Wipro’s IT presence to Warangal, establishing new consumer care manufacturing units in Telangana and launching skill development initiatives.

Further, Revanth Reddy and IT minister Sridhar Babu highlighted to Premji the Congress government’s vision of taking Hyderabad to greater heights as a global destination in multiple sectors, especially tech.

They also discussed ways to make technology more accessible to common people and solve everyday problems.
