Bhopal: Union health minister J P Nadda on Wednesday saw a design by the INDIA bloc to legalize the stay of the infiltrators in India by opposing the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls for their electoral interests.

Addressing the ‘Save Democracy, Remove Anarchy’ rally here, Mr. Nadda said that while BJP backed the detection, deletion and deportation of the outsiders, the Congress and INDIA bloc have sought the legalization of their presence, which had helped the grand old party remain in power for years.

He accused the Opposition parties of facilitating settlements of the outsiders, and alleged that Aadhaar cards and ration cards were made for them to settle them down.

He lambasted the Congress for undermining the Election Commission of India (ECI), and described it as the party’s frustration for gradually losing its relevance among the voters in the country.

“The Congress knows that voters will deny them a political space in the coming 20-30 years and hence, the party started targeting the ECI”, he alleged.

For the Congress, if the party wins the elections, then ‘Rahul Baba’ is a champion, but if the party loses the election, then the ECI is dishonest, he said.

He said that while in other countries people come to the poll body for registration, in India, the booth level officers go door-to-door to facilitate registration, he said.

Madhya Pradesh chief minister Mohan Yadav also spoke on the occasion.
