75 BSF Personnel, 3 Others Hospitalised Over Suspected Food Poisoning

The personnel and three civilians reported vomiting and nausea after breakfast and were admitted to RIMS; all are stable.

Seventy-five Border Security Force (BSF) personnel and three civilians were admitted to the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) on Thursday following suspected food poisoning.

Seventy-five BSF personnel and three others were admitted to a government hospital here on Thursday for suspected food poisoning, an official said.The border guards and three civilians were brought to the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) around 1 pm as they reported vomiting and nausea after breakfast, he said.

"The Border Security Force personnel and three civilians were provided with immediate treatment in the emergency, and their conditions are now stable. They fell sick due to suspected food poisoning," a RIMS official said.
