Being tall is just one of many things people aspire for when thinking of overall fitness. But some people can grow surprisingly fast and stand out in a crowd for their physical features.

12-year-old Sophie Hollins stands proud at 6ft 2in as she has set a record thanks to her height. The schoolgirl can touch the ceiling at home as she towers over friends and family.

Sophie has been named as the world’s tallest pre-teen by Guinness World Records, but she will be happy if a procedure to stop her growth is successful. Her life-threatening genetic disorder is affecting the body’s connective issues.

The girl has also faced issues at school with many calling her a giraffe and her mother was worried about her at one point of time when she was very skinny.
