Cricket is undeniably the most followed sport. It has been a passion for several youngsters over time. But of course because of adulthood most of their dreams succumb to responsibilities and commitments. This quintet of cricket lovers always dreamt of being famous cricket stars.

And, thus Bhargav, Siddharth, Vicky, Vinod and Adithya decided to form a group of cricket fanatics to try and bring their dreams to light.

Bhargava Krishna, an IT employee and the founder of YouWeCan Bengaluru team says, “I’m a huge fan of Yuvi and I’ve learned various trick by following his steps. I could not personally work towards fulfilling my dream of being a cricketer, but I wanted to give a chance to my fellow cricket lovers. This team is not only for the employees to play over the weekends but a team that they can bond with and connect with.

There is no age limit and I have seen people from different walks of life in the teams. Not everyone can afford the time and money to dedicate exclusively for cricket. We want this dream sport to be easy to take up and fulfil their wish.” Bhargav who was a member in the other teams now formed one which is also for those kids who are really interested. He adds, “This team is not just a cricketing network. It is also a social network for us as well.”

They urge other employees with the love for cricket to relive their childhood memories of the sport over the weekends. The reason is they intend to save the other from an early burn out or giving in to workaholism. To refresh the weekends and give the body a little exercise is the best way to rejuvenate from a stressful week.

Siddharth, manager of KCC (Kalakarah Cricket Club) team says, “With 120 members in the team, we take up T20, T30 and T50 as well. The matches will be conducted over the weekends and other common holidays. With a few number of girls in the team, they can be said as an inspiration to others with the same passion and vigour. With a stable organising committee, the dates, practice slots and place, time and budget are all well taken care of. I always try motivating most of the people to take up sports which helps boost your stamina and keep you fit inside out. This is a better alternative to the monotonous gyms and boring salads, a little exercise in a fun way for the body is not bad.”

Playo and Crick heroes are the two mobile applications through which people can register. Once the team registers on the app with their precise details, it gives insights and updates of the live match. With live score and details, it is handy and user friendly. This app helps players with the score and the enthusiasts with the sport.

Vicky another founder of the team says, “The team is growing stronger day by day. With no age limits, there are people responding well to joining the group. Playo and Cric heroes also help other teams and the fans to know about the team and it’s players. With a motive to gather the budding cricket enthusiasts to fulfil their dream, we want to do a bit from our end.”
