1 As an artist, what’s that one thing we can always find in your bag?
A knife tool. It’s indispensable!

2 An incident, that freaked you out?
When my daughter spilled a tub of water on a painting just before the art show. Imagine my plight!

3 Any instance from your show, which left you red-faced?
A person came and asked if that particular painting is a print.

4 A song on loop at the moment?
While painting I like to hear Anoushka Shankar and when not painting, I like to listen to Ed Sheeran’s Shape of You.

5 The best piece of advice you have been given?
Finance was doing better than art sales!

6 One thing you can’t do without.
Social media interaction.

7 A colour you’d pick to thwart away the blues?

Blue. Ironically, but yea!

8 If you are reborn again, what would you like to be — still a painter?
Definitely, I want to be an artist again.

9 Name something you love and why?
I love painting Buddhas – they have a strange calming effect!

10 One thing you absolutely dislike?
Um, stealing my thunder?
