Michelle Obama and James Corden donned their patriotic hats in an epic dodgeball face off on Monday’s episode of The Late Late Show.

As reported by www.eonline.com the face off was the result of a debate between the former first lady and the late-night show host. The core reason for debate was who is better — the United States or the United Kingdom. After a heated debate about musicians and sportspersons the two decided to settle scores on the dodgeball court.

With their celebrity friends joining them for support, team UK and team USA were ready to battle it out.

Obama’s team USA included, Mila Kunis, Allison Janney, Melissa McCarthy, Lena Waithe and Kate Hudson.

Mila Kunis was all for team Obama. “Listen, when Michelle Obama calls and asks you to do anything, you just say yes,” Kunis said.

Corden’s team UK bragged of, Harry Styles, Benedict Cumberbatch John Bradley and Reggie Watts.

Styles spoke about his support for Corden, “When James Corden calls you, you initially ignore the call. Then, he keeps calling you. Then, he keeps texting saying ‘Hey, did you get my call?’ Then, he shows up at your house, your work, your hairdresser, your pilates class and your shower.”

The heated game saw the first round in favour of team USA but the tables turned after a short tea-break, with team UK sweeping the floor with their win.

It all narrowed down to the third round where team USA beat team UK hands down.
