The more you understand it, the more amazed you are by the holistic nature of the universe.

City-based Vaastu exponent and a pharma scientist with a PhD in Chemistry, Dr Venugopal Rao Veeramaneni, who recently bagged a gold medal at the 17th International Astrology and Vaastu Conference in Ahmedabad, says that any situation can be turned around.

Even as a child, Dr Veeramaneni admits that he was always intrigued and attracted to astrology, and that he used to experiment with it.

Running parallel to his career as a research scientist at Dr Reddy’s, he carried out in- depth study and extensive research of astrology and vaastu out of sheer passion and gained mastery over both of them.

Recalling how it all began, Dr Veeramaneni narrates, “It all started in 1980. When I was 10-years-old, I lost my younger brother and a few years prior to that, I had lost my elder brother too. That got me thinking. Why do things happen? Is there any reason behind events? My own psychic abilities started to surface and there began my journey with astrology. I found myself drawn further and further into it. The more you understand it, the more amazed you are by the holistic nature of the universe.”

According to him, any situation can be turned around, and any opportunity can be salvaged; the greater your awareness, the more you are the artist of your experience.

This relentless pursuit of the occult guided him to earn two more PhDs — one in astrology and another in vaastu, along with the rare distinction of being the only individual holding three doctorates.

“While I was working for Dr Reddy’s, I started giving astrological suggestions and readings to my friends, their families and their relatives. I only chose to help friends and relatives then so that I could get feedback from them. Then I went on to do my Masters in astrology after which I started seriously practicing it,” says Dr Veeramaneni, who explains that astrology affords significant insights into one’s personality and life.

However, his journey has not been free of challenges. “In spite of a deep study in astrology, my results were not satisfactory. Then I realised a combination of astrology and vaastu helps in creating a harmonious balance of energy, it involves creating horoscopes of a given space in order to identify its energy landscape over a spectrum of positive to negative. That’s how my journey of astro-vaastu started in 2012,” says the Rashtra Vibhushan awardee, who claims to correct faulty vaastu without any physical alterations. It therefore, comes as no surprise that while his clients come from diverse walks of life, some of the biggest names in the city feature quite prominently.
