The project is headed by The Shola Trust in collaborations with The Elephant Family, and The Elephant collective.

CoExist, an exhibition as part of the project aimed Elephant Conservation and fund raising will begin today in Fort Kochi. The exhibition of life-size elephants made from lantana weeds will kick start the global tour of 100 life-size elephants.  The overall objective with the exhibitions is to change the way nature conservation is through of — from saving tiny patches of forests to living well with all animals around. The project is headed by The Shola Trust in collaborations with The Elephant Family, and The Elephant collective.   

After Kochi, the lantana elephants will be installed in public exhibitions and events through 2019 in Bangalore and Delhi, and then the UK (Victoria and Albert Museum and Royal Parks in London) in 2020. Through 2021, they will travel across the USA from east to west on flat bed trucks, stopping in iconic locations along the way.
