Video: 5-foot python crashes through ceiling leaving bank staff terrified

A huge snake can be a terrifying sight and a serpent falling from above is the last thing anyone would want. Several shocking incidents of snakes turning up in several unexpected places including air-conditioners and refrigerators have been reported in the past few years.

Now chilling footage showing a python falling right through the ceiling during a staff meeting has emerged from a bank in China. The five-foot long snake weighing about five kilos landed between two terrified employees before slithering away.

Wildlife authorities were called and managed to capture the snake before handing it over to the Wildlife Rescue Research and Epidemic Monitoring Centre. It is thought to have entered the building through a flower and bird market nearby.
