Man washes new Rs. 2000 note in test' video

While thousands of people are queuing outside banks across the country to get their hands on the newly printed bank currency notes, there are folks who are more interested in ‘testing’ them out rather than spending them. A video of man washing a Rs. 2000 note under running water has now captured the interest of the internet.

The clip shows the crisp new high currency note being rinsed in tap water for a little more than half a minute. What is amazing is that the note is apparently water-proof and does not tear or even fade.

Although this particular video has already got more 5 million views on YouTube, there are several other such testing videos circulating on social media.
