When the bride's father died of a heart attack the morning of the wedding, the family insisted on having the wedding. "It was awkward as hell and nobody in the building made it through without crying, even the minister," Chipmunksyndrome said.

Paulsmith4908 told of how the bride's sisters showed up uninvited ready for a battle and the father of the two had to break up the fight by putting the "sister in a choke hold and dragging her out of the venue."

Cjbeck71081 had front row seats when the best man professed his love for the bride and revealed "they had slept together two nights before" the wedding, during his speech.

One user spoke of what happened at her own wedding, thanks to an intoxicated family member. "Alcoholic aunt showed up drunk and proceeded to yell out random things such as "Don't do it!!" or make "Wooo!!!" noises throughout my ENTIRE ceremony," BackwardsChic wrote, according to Daily Mail. "She ended up passing out on a chair during cocktail hour, called me my other's cousin's name and ripped my veil from my head cause she was so drunk and almost fell. Then she had to literally be carried out, unconscious."
