It was the touching moment a solider in Thailand refused to give up on a lifeless puppy that was discovered in a flooded garage at an army base.

While its sibling survived, the little pub was thought to have been dead, the Daily Mail reported.

But with a gut feeling, the soldiers decided to perform CPR and heart massage for several minutes that must have felt like an eternity.

Weeraphon Sukudom and his colleagues discovered the pups after the garage was flooded due to heavy rains in Bangkok.

The little one had already turned blue when they decided to lay it on a table and do what they could to bring it back to life.

"We found him floating in the water and started trying to save him," Sukudom is quoted as saying by the Daily Mail. Adding, "I learned CPR a long time ago but had never done it before on a human or animal. But I had to try to save the little dog."

Video footage captured the miraculous moment when the room was filled with joy when the puppy came to and could be seen breathing.

Sukudom reportedly adopted the little puppy and fittingly named him Champion.
