If you’re a wine lover, then this is very good news for you, and probably one more reason to visit the wine capital of the world, France. In a first of its kind venture, France has built a theme park, not for children but for adults with a penchant for vino.

Located in the country’s most popular wine making region of Bordeaux, the park—La Cite du Vin, or City of Wine — does not have a conventional roller coaster ride synonymous with theme parks, for good reason we suppose, but 20 wine-themed sections that take you through the history and culture of wine.

There is also a 250-seat auditorium for classes, screenings and wine-tasting sessions apart from two restaurants in the 10-story building that is built to resemble a swirling glass of wine.

For now, there is one simulator that is as close as it gets to a ‘ride’ that takes you through a world of wine, as seen through the eyes of a merchant. As of now, the place offers wine from more than 80 countries around the world.
